Canada to Suspend Passenger Flights: Transport Minister Omar Algabra has made it clear that Canada will not hesitate to ban flights from other countries if needed. A record 3 lakh 14 thousand 835 corona virus infection cases were recorded in India on Thursday.

Coronavirus, Canada has decided to cancel flights coming from India and Pakistan. The government says that these restrictions will start from Thursday and continue for 30 days. 

The special thing is that Justin Trudeau government has taken this step after opposition from politicians in the country. However, cargo flights will not be affected during this period. Coronavirus cases are increasing in India continuously.

Canadian Health Minister Patty Haju said that 20 percent of all international travelers are Indians. Out of these, more than 50 percent people have been infected in the investigation conducted by the authorities at the airport in Canada. 

He said that after stopping direct travel from these countries, public health experts will have time to evaluate the ongoing epidemic and re-assess the situation.

Conservative heads of Ontario and Quebec wrote a letter to Trudeau on Thursday. In this, he appealed to the PM to stop international travel.

Restrictions on India started inBritain, according to PTI language, Britain has put India in the 'Red List' of those countries. 

Under this, non-British and Irish citizens from India to Britain will be banned. Also, it has been made mandatory for Britons returning from abroad to stay in isolation for 10 days in the hotel. 

Apart from this, France has made 10-day quarantine mandatory for passengers coming from Brazil, Chile, Argentina, South Africa and India. At the same time, the UAE has canceled all flights coming from India.
