Covid Reliane Foundation to build 1000 bed hospital


COVID-19 Reliance Foundation has announced that it is building a 1000-bed Covid-19 hospital with oxygen supply in Jamnagar, Gujarat. In this hospital, patients will get free treatment facilities. 

The second wave of Kovid-19 has greatly impacted the medical infrastructure of the entire country. 

But in the meantime, the government as well as many private companies and non-governmental organizations are engaged in improving the infrastructure related to the treatment of patients infected with Covid. 

Meanwhile, Reliance Foundation has announced that it is building a 1,000-bed Covid-19 hospital with oxygen supply in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The Foundation has stated that patients will get free treatment facilities in this hospital. 

A statement issued by the foundation said that a 400-bed Kovid Care Center will be set up at the Government Dental College & Hospital campus in Jamnagar within a week. After that, in the next two weeks, a 600-bed center will be built in Jamnagar itself.

"India is grappling with the second wave of Kovid," said Nita M Ambani, founder and chairperson of Reliance Foundation. We are committed to helping in every way possible. Additional facility time related to healthcare is needed. 

''He said, "Reliance Foundation is building a 1000-bed hospital with oxygen for Kovid patients in Jamnagar. The first phase of 400 beds will be ready in the next one week. From this, another 600 beds will be ready in the next one week. The hospital will provide quality services for free.

According to official figures, there are 5,24,725 active cases in Gujarat. So far 6,656 people have lost their lives due to this infection. 

Dhanraj Nathwani, group president at Reliance Industries Ltd, said that all the necessary manpower, medical support, equipment and other disposable items would be provided by Reliance. 

The state government will coordinate to ensure adequate number of doctors and nursing staff are available in the hospital. The hospital will provide relief to patients from Jamnagar, Dwarka, Porbandar and other areas of Saurashtra.
