Ness is evacuated from the rocks with the help of a helicopter. After spending time in the base camp on Everest, he is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital in Nepal's capital Kathmandu. 

The Norwegian broadcaster, who interviewed Ness, said that the Sherpa in his team has also been found infected. He said, 'I really hope that no one else will be infected at the height of the mountain.

He said, 'One person was evacuated on April 15, but we were informed that he is suffering from pneumonia and treatment is going on in isolation.
