Ever since this news, the hopes of Nepal's bumper climbers have come back. Nepal had relaxed quarantine rules to attract more and more climbers despite treatment difficulties.

Ness is evacuated from the rocks with the help of a helicopter. After spending time in the base camp on Everest, he is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital in Nepal's capital Kathmandu. 

The Norwegian broadcaster, who interviewed Ness, said that the Sherpa in his team has also been found infected. He said, 'I really hope that no one else will be infected at the height of the mountain.

At the same time, Meera Acharya, spokesperson of the tourism department of Nepal, said that they have not yet received the report of Kovid-19 in any mountaineer. 

He said, 'One person was evacuated on April 15, but we were informed that he is suffering from pneumonia and treatment is going on in isolation.

Nepal has issued 377 permits to climb mountains this year. It is being said that this figure will surpass the figure of 381 permits issued in 2019.

In 2019, 11 people died, out of which mob was believed to be the cause of 4 deaths.
