After winning against Sunrisers Hyderabad, R Ashwin tweeted and told that his family is fighting a war against Covid 19.

The entire country is currently fighting the second wave of Coronavirus. Cases of corona are increasing day by day. Hospitals are full of patients. 

Everyone is trying to collect medicines, beds and oxygen. Lockdown has been imposed in most states. Meanwhile, big news is coming that due to Corona, Delhi Capitals star bowler R Ashwin has withdrawn from the 14th season of IPL (IPL 2021).

Ashwin gave this information on social media. He tweeted and said that I am taking a break from this year's IPL from tomorrow (Tuesday). 

My family is fighting a battle against Kovid 19 and I want to support them in this difficult time. If things go in the right direction, I hope to return.

 Ashwin was able to achieve only one success in 5 matches R Ashwin
tweeted this after winning the Super Over against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Delhi Capitals now have to play their next match against Royal Challengers Bangalore on 27 April and the team will take the field without Ashwin. 

After winning over Hyderabad, Delhi has reached the second number in the points table.

While batting first, Delhi had scored 159 runs for 4 wickets, in response, Hyderabad were also able to score the same number of runs for seven wickets in the stipulated over. 

After this, Delhi Capitals won in the Super Over. However, Ashwin could not get any success in this match. Ashwin gave 27 runs in 4 overs. 

Not only this, he has been able to take only one wicket in the last 5 matches for Delhi Capitals. In the last 4 matches, he has been empty handed.
